After Ben Lippen I got my BS in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University. I reinlisted and enrolled for my MS degree at NC State. While working on my Master's degree I met my wife, Julie, and we were married in 1988. Around that time I helped start the North Carolina Solar Center at NC State University and worked with that organization for 10 years. Four years ago, God moved us to the Left Coast and we now live in a town called Vacaville (sounds like cow-town in Spanish) in Northern California. I am now a consulting engineer and do a lot of training and consulting for the state of California in the area of solar energy. We have three wonderful children, Joshua (13), Bethany (9), and Moriah (7). Bethany is our special needs child and is a total Daddy's girl (actually all the kids are Dad's but I let Mom love on them from time to time). We have been working in an awesome church here for the past three years, and Julie and I went with our church to India this past February for a missions trip. I will likely be returning to India early next year to do a series of worship conferences with our church in the major cities of India. Life is very good, God is always faithful even when we are not. What else is there to life? Bill |
